This is an art piece made in collaboration with artist Psyke Otomimetic using the circuit board design techniques that we have learned from our exploration making panel art. Titled "Event Horizon Crossing Ahead", the artwork depicts a stylized portrayal of space-time stretching to a single point in the region around a black hole. The piece incorporates tiled patterns used in our circuit board panels to give the entire image a three-dimensional, multilayer quality. These art pieces are 12" x 12" and have mounting holes in each corner, they are made with purple solder resist and gold/ ENIG exposed pads.
These pieces are part of a limited set of 10. Each piece is hand signed and numbered by myself in the back. This is the first of these are pieces that I will be making with the intention of doing more limited sets in the future. We might make more art with Psyke based on the black hole art in the future but these are the only 10 that will be made with this design.
